Episode 8 - Antiracism & intersectionality
In the episode, we are discussing anti-racism and intersectionality. This podcast episode initiative is powered by HerSpace.
In this episode, we discuss anti-racism and intersectionality. Identifying and confronting racism by altering systems, organizational structures, policies, and attitudes in order to allocate power more fairly, is the goal of anti-racism. Since our identities are interconnected, intersectionality encourages us to think about how different components of our identity interact with one another and require equitable action.
These three panelists— Chisom Udeze, Sarah Przedpelska, and Sergio Prin-Sand —are joined by Hyacinth Walters-Olsen to discuss anti-racism and intersectionality at the workspace.
